Hola!
Hope you're keeping safe!
Today, we'll be talking about the importance of building a network.
Always try to meet new people and talk to them. Here are few reasons why you should network:
1. More than 64% of job seekers get hired through a referral - source LinkedIn Jobs
2. Having a network helps you learn from your peers. Researchers say that group-learning has better outcome than solo-learning.
3. It helps you get things done faster. If it's getting a potential client or inviting a guest for your event or getting sponsors, having connections always works.
We've invited CEOs of massive companies for our events, it was all possible because knew whom to reach out to on LinkedIn!
How to build a network?
Use the 5-5-5 strategy. Send 5 cold mails, 5 texts and make 5 calls everyday. This could be to your friends, people whom you admire, your college alumni, successful folks on LinkedIn, Twitter DMs, WhatsApp messages, etc.
You'll soon realise that you've compounded a huge network that's more valuable than you net-worth!
Also, we have a Telegram group which is a great way of meeting like-minded people. Check it out: telegram.me/clinifydotin
Happy networking!
